In addition to the manufacture and assembly of our proprietary grinding machine tools, we are able to offer a range of complementary manufacturing and assembly subcontract services. With our installed capacity on site, we are able to offer services for medium to large milling, boring and grinding, along with part or full assembly of small to medium sized machines for a wide variety of industries. Our machine tool capacities relevant to the above subcontract services are detailed below. In addition to this, our staff are experienced with guillotine blade regrinding and press-brake tool reconditioning.

Assembly & Test
Our experienced machine tool fitters and assembly team have considerable experience with the build of complex electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies. Over the years that both Douglas Curtis Machine Tools & subsequently Curtis Machine Tools have manufactured & built high precision, high technological machines, our staff have been able to learn and adapt to a wide range of disciplines.
